Charlie (Conner's only granddaughter), has found this magical glowing book in her grandfathers attic. She just saw her great aunt and her grandfather disappear, and now she finds this glowing book. She knew they must have been related. Charlie soon falls into the book, like her grandfather before her. Meanwhile, her mother Elizabeth and her uncle Matthew have plans to put their father Conner in a Assisted Living Community. But they soon find out Charlie, and their father Conner are gone. Elizabeth, Matthew and their little sister Carrie are sucked into the Fairytale world, and they find Charlie in the Fairytale world. But somethings wrong, everyone is missing. It's now a race to bring everything back to normal. But their going to need help, help from past heroes. Will they save the Fairytale World in time, find out when this fairytale adventure continues. Lloyd is Alex's (main character along with corner her brother ) evil uncle who plans to take over the fairytail world and the real world this is the extent he is willing to do to accomplish that.

second book in what I think will be a series of five (book #5 comes out this summer!). This series (and specifically this book) are fantastic and so entertaining to read! This book is my favorite out of all the ones in the series so far because I feel like it is when Alex and Conner Bailey truly discover themselves and their destinies. Following them through their whole adventure to find a way to defeat the enchantress for good left me shouting in anger, crying of happiness, sighing in embarrassment for the characters, and squealing with joy throughout the entire thing. The story is written so well you can't help but just be physically attached to the characters and the book itself. I found it hard to put the book down! If I had to describe the book in three words I would say that it is enchanting (ha ha), delightful, and engaging. This book hits home to me and I couldn't have been happier with the way everything all ended... happily ever after. For now at least! This book/series in a definite must read for anyone remotely interested in anything Disney, fantasy, underdog worthy, or even if you just want a fun and happy read guaranteed to make you smile and fill with joy! (Or you could cry like me at the part when Alex sees all her childhood role models and heroes... I broke down and pretty much sobbed, as said before that hit really close to home for me!) shelma says: I really loved this book because it was a cross between fantasy and real life. The land of stories was a very interesting place. I agreed you read the other books in the series. This book was very detailed and had good description. The book was very interesting and made you imagine everything what happened.

The masked man is on the loose and he has a plan to destroy the fairytale world and the real world to get his happy ending. But to do that he needs the help of the baddest villains of all time. Alex and Connor figure out his plan and need to stop him. Their closest friends, Red, Froggy, Mother Goose, Goldilocks, and Jack help them on their quest.
