Merlin has a secret past. One that he hasn't told anyone. His parents had die saving him when he was just a child. He had to flee his village or else the other villagers would kill him too. If he died, then, his parents had died for nothing, so he ran away. He made a home on the streets in the city of Caerleon. He became a skilled thief and swords fighter. He was having the time of his life stealing things, that was until he had to flee from the kingdom before he was killed. He traveled to Ealdor in the kingdom of Essetir. There, a woman called Hunith took him in and taught him a few things in the medical care. Years later, he becomes the servant of Prince Arthur. Can his secret past stay secret?

Just random Merlin oneshots. I try my best to be as original as possible. Goes from being sad, to funny, to mad.... You get the gist. I don't ship Arthur and Gwenivere, so in most one shots, they never married. Most will probably be Pinterest inspired. Some ideas are taken from other books I've read and turned into my own. Arthur thought that his Soulpoetry, an "of the same coin" scrawl on the base of his fingers, referred to the fact that he led a very dull Pendragon life.
