Set after the events of advent children, Cloud struggles to become the 'real' family Tifa desperately wants them to become. This story is now complete, however I may add bonus chapters, alternate versions or possibly take requests.

Cloud Strife and Tifa Lockheart were childhood friends. They always helped each other through the darkest times and always stood by each other after Cloud promised to always protect Tifa when they were children. After all the fights and deaths of close friends and Sephiroth, a new enemy rose even more powerful than Sephiroth. His name was Tide. Cloud left Tifa, Denzel and Marlene for two long years because he was assigned to find out information about Tide, He finds out Tifa is Tide's target. Now he's back and they've both come to their sense that they truly love each other. Will Cloud be able to save her from Tide?

Two weeks after the final battle against Sephiroth, Cloud's past has come back. Visions of his parents haunt him in his dreams and since he is severely injured, his dreams occur regularly. With Tifa taking care of him, trying to help gets harder as she doesn't know what to do. But when a man comes into their life, his appearance stirs Cloud in all the wrong ways. He feels like the man is familiar but he cannot be trusted. Though everyone is fond of the man, could he have been part of Cloud's traumatic experience?
