If nothing else, I hope it inspires you to try your hand at writing Science Fiction if you haven't already.

We all look different, of course, but we're not allowed to be Designed. However many jobs are needed on the Thousand Day is the number of Blanks that are taken from Holding and Designed. Whichever jobs they need is what we become, we have no choice in who we are. Doctor, teacher, mother, whatever. We are Genetic Blanks and aren't allowed to be unique. But no one told me that.
