Dean starts wearing the glasses used for seeing hellhounds around everywhere to discover other things hidden from his vision. At first he notices nothing. Until one day, Cas shows up and Dean can't seem to take them off. Based off a post I saw on Insta about what if Dean could also see Cas' wings with the glasses on. Not my original idea:)

It's 1995, and Castiel's high school years are destined to be difficult: home-schooled until eighth grade, he is awkward, shy, and socially inept. The weird kid with the funny name would rather isolate himself and draw in his sketchbook than deal with the constant bullying he faces every day. Things only get worse in his junior year when he excels in home economics class, leading the captain of the baseball team, Alastair, to start taunting him for being gay. Then new student Dean Winchester arrives at Flour Bluff High School, sharing many of Castiel's classes. Castiel has seen his type before -- handsome, athletic, arrogant, and sure to be the most popular kid in school. But Castiel eventually learns that he and Dean have more in common than he thought, and they form an unlikely friendship. This story was originally published October 20, 2010 as part of the Dean/Cas Big Bang Challenge. Warnings: Bullying, homophobic language, some violence related to bullying. "Dean, eldest prince of the demon kingdom, was on his way to the training yard outside, as he moved through the castle walls, he heard the familiar voice of Lucifer. He was incharge of dealing with new hostages, and taking them to the servant quarters deep below the surface of the earth. Just as he expected, as he rounded the corner, there was the blond haired man, leading a row of chained angels. There were about six, an impressive number. Only one dared to look up at him, it was only for a fraction of a second, but Dean hadn't missed it. It was a young boy, about his own age, he had dark black hair, and in contrast, stunning blue eyes that still shone even beneath all the dirt and grime."
