Raphael, the maker of the so-called second world, requests Clementine to join this war and defeat the Bloodreapers, the clan of evils. Along the journey, Clementine deals with various mythological creatures, witnesses the brutal assassination of a close friend, makes new buddies, finds love, discovers a betrayal, and is also revealed a secret, a secret which will change her monotonous life FOREVER. Will she be able to complete her journey with her friends by stopping the world from peril, or will she die trying?

Little did they know, everything was about to change. A new universe, full of beauty and magic. New roles, new looks. Everyone around them seemed to know who they were, though they were all strangers. Claire and Selina knew nothing of this place. Nothing of these people who were supposedly in their lives for a long time now. Everything had changed. A universe where people from different kingdoms were not allowed to be together. A world that was destroyed full of mixed people, or "misfits" that they all feared. They were about to find out about these lives in the midst of a battle.

Benjamin is a lonely boy. Sentina is a self-centered demon. And after he accidentally summons her in his bathroom, she offers him a deal that is too good to refuse. She would get rid of his loneliness. And in exchange, she doesn't ask for his soul, but for something she describes as "insignificant". Emotions, to be exact. As both attempt to get the best out of their deal, Benjamin learns that demons aren't the evil creatures of darkness he'd thought they were. They can be friendly, compassionate, kind. And it isn't only demons that humans misunderstood. Angels aren't holy creatures of purity, they have flaws, they are hateful, they can cause pain and they are after Sentina. Soon, the deal becomes a little less harmless as murderous winged people and emotionless bodies barge into Benjamin's life. He is now forced to choose a side in an endless war. When I was a child, I used to think the monsters Mom used to tell me in her fairytale stories were scary. But now that I've seen the real world, I've realized humans are much scarier. There's an evil king turning innocent people into demons, villages literally dying from lack of resources, and the only way to solve this is an eighteen year old girl who doesn't even know her real identity yet. Owyn Calder has always dreamed of becoming a dragonrider. But only registered children can visit tamed dragons to pass the test. Kids with unknown birthdays have to find wild dragons to form a bond. Lyria Damos is the opposite. She thinks dragons are stupid and doesn't want to pass the test. But she has to because her parents, the king and queen, insisted that she become a dragonrider.
