After moving to a small town for a semester and a half, Camilla Adams is relived about how great the new place and school seem to be, and how nice some people were. But then she notices the way students treat one particular quiet guy, some horribly, some giving him a wide berth. Being too overwhelmed with the move at first, Camilla hadn't noticed him. But now that she's settled, something about Ethan Bishop pulls her. Maybe she sees her loneliness reflected in him, or maybe it's simply her nosy side poking around, but with a smile on her face, she approaches the quiet Ethan. Only to find out he couldn't actually hear her...
