Levi goes to a party at Hanji's apartment and keeps receiving texts throughout the night. The others get suspicious and during truth or dare they dare Levi to invite over whoever he has been texting. Marcus Nitrhogus is a 23 year old Mage. Lath is a Demon. The stupidity of an old Necromancer leads to a deal. Marcus doesn't pay any mind to giving up his soul, he's never cared much anyways. Covered in scars and full of regret, his only purpose is to help others. Bored with the affairs of Gehenna, Lath decides to make a deal to serve as his protector. Soon, the mess Lath left behind follows him, but he doesn't care. Until that mess latches on to Marcus. Too busy trying to solve a murder, Marcus is left in the dark. Time may heal all wounds, but scars don't often fade.
