It was a chilly autumn eve, the mildew dripping from the dying leaves - they burst in brilliant reds and oranges. The fog was now fading under the last rays of the sun, although none of its warmth filled the atmosphere, only the lingering chill of the fog could be felt. Amongst the mist a small faun sat on a fence belonging to a pasture that connected to a quaint little farmhouse, rustic in appearance. Glass and logs created it's form; yet the faun would not dare to go near it nor dare to cross over the fence on which he sat, for the masters of the house would not be pleased in such disobedience to the rules of the land. So he sat in a bundle with a book in his fuzzy lap only being able to dream what real freedom from captivity would be. Oh how he longed to know the forest, streams and mountains that surrounded their lodge no matter how many times he was told it could never be; it never stopped him from dreaming. In his mind he was free. One day he'd leave that place but today was not the day, but one day he'd be brave enough to leave the fence that bound him. _______ I wrote the first chapter and half of the second myself, but due to my writers block and lack of motivation. The lovely @thefartingrabbit came to give me a hand and help write this. So it's now a collab!

When a Faun and a Cervitaur meets... Well, what sounds like a hilarious joke is Brett's real life. Not only did he have to run away from a bloodthirsty monster who wants to kill him, but he also needs to sort out his head and heart. Being in love isn't easy, especially when you fall for a cute man (which you also wrongly assumed to be a girl on the first meeting) of another race and species. Society isn't ready as a whole for that - and honestly, neither is Brett himself. But he has to push through, be it ferocious friends, creepy sea-creatures or sisters-in-law who make your whole body tremble in fear. An unbeknownst archeologists gets sucked into an alternate universe similar to his worlds distant past. ~~~~~~ Eddy trekked up the rocky mountain side, it's path was well walked by many archeologists like him. After all he was on a dig site, the mountain side was littered with ancient walls made of large rocks - most were overgrown now - and some outlines of huts that were no longer intact. Those, however, were not his goal. His goal was the burial shrine that part of the team thought they may have found. The shrine was not as massive as one would think, but it was carved into a mountain. That was quite impressive. Sadly enough it was in bad shape. The entrance was half buried so one had to really duck and make themselves small to practically crawl into it. ~~~~~ Welcome to another collab between @thefartingrabbit and I.

Brett moves away from Eddy and he learns that he slowly becomes more and more in love with him. Eddy, on the other hand fell in love with him too, but he only realized this when he saw him flying off. Three years later, Brett comes back. The first thing he does is go to Eddy's apartment. He knocks and a sweet little old lady answered the door. Eddy had moved.

On the outside, Brett Yang appears to have everything. A dream job as a soloist, prestige around the world, and money to buy whatever he desires. However, even money cannot repair the hurt he still experiences from abuse during childhood. When he learns that one of his tours is in Taiwan, his childhood home, he is forced to face his childhood memories and remeet old acquaintances. With the help of an old, long-forgotten friend, however, he is able to face anything -- even in the midst of sabatoge.
