This story starts off the day after Rory graduates from Yale in May of 2007.

Rory and Logan meet one day in August 2021 in a coffee shop in New York City. There will be drama, but not Rogan drama. They will have to deal with the ups and downs of meeting and reuniting. The end game is always Rogan. The following is background information for the story ahead. Basically-what happened during the twelve years between the proposal and the meeting in New York.

Story begins with those three fateful words - "Mom, I'm pregnant!" Logan is the father, but he's in London - will this pregnancy make him see that walking away from Rory was a huge mistake and come back to be with her? How will Mitchum, Shira and Honor take the news? Will Odette become a threat to Rory or will she back off and let them be? Will a huge unknown secret put an end to them or will it make them stronger? How will everyone react when this unknown secret is revealed? What will happen when a family member becomes very sick? Will the family come together? Love, Sickness, Trouble and Secrets - is what every family goes through right? But will love be enough to keep the family together because of something that happened in the past? Troubling times and Secrets are hard on everyone, but when a secret, even an unknown secret, is revealed will it make or break them? This story follows Rory's daily life and all of her struggles, beginning approximately five years after A Year in the Life has ended. This is NOT a sequel to The Aftermath, as this takes a completely different direction.
