Since Genevieve's incident with her ex, she's gone down a troubled road, resulting in rough consequences, that have changed her life forever. After the incident, she's gone back to normal. No more parties, alcohol, or problems. She's steered clear from all things that can cause problems, problems causes anger, anger causes sadness, sadness causes alcohol, and alcohol causes pills. As for relationships, all of the above occur. Partying, and booze mixed with emotions make a good time. "because being in love, or... or showing emotions, it makes you weak, and I hate that feeling" Montgomery has had a family problem throughout his life his father and mother tend to have slips, resulting in his bad-boy behavior. Montgomery wants to be seen as a narcissistic bad boy with anger issues, but is that his true form ? Montgomery and Genevieve are similar in a few ways, both deal with their problems in a non productive way, both have been hurt by people they thought they loved, perhaps that's why they think 'love' is inaccurate word Though Genevieve hates Montgomery's blank stares and dry sense of conversation, strangely she's drawn to him, Can the two decide to finally break their 'unloving' rule, for one another
