No really, dynamites and intercontinental missiles, every army veteran's greatest fantasy, as long as we're talking metaphors that is. Devon Whitfield steals her library seat and she imposes hell on him by checking out the one copy of his favourite book. As their fight grows more and more elaborate, the thin line between love and hate begins to blur. Featuring maddening mothers, scheming sisters, ballistic librarians, and things that would seem utterly impossible...if it wasn't war. ᴥ ᴥ ᴥ ~ 05.22.2016 : #29 in Humor ~ 03.31.2016 : #13 in 'What Hot' Humor ᴥ ᴥ ᴥ I MUST WARN YOU PERSON WHO IS READING THIS THERE ARE MANY SPOILERS FROM MULTIPLE POPULAR TV SHOWS AND BOOKS MAINLY SUPERWHOLOCK AND HARRY POTTER. *** Third and Final book of the Release Me Series. Do not read if you have not read the first book. Also this blurb contains spoilers, so do not read the blurb if you don't want to spoil the first or second book. I repeat do not read.*** A new world means a new set of rules. You must defeat it before it wins over you. It's a twisted game, waiting for its next competitors. One wrong move and you are done. You breathe only for yourself and your needs in this world. Trust no one, because you never know when or who might backstab you with a knife so sharp you will never get up from it. One last game. One last chance. Win it all back or lose it all.

*Previously known as Sinking in Chaos* -D A L L A S- "Did he really cheat on you? -D" Who the hell is D? I don't know anyone with the name that starts except Dylan but he has my number. The only other person is, oh god. No. Not him. *** Anger is all Sydney could feel when she found out that her boyfriend, Ryan, had a dirty little secret. Of course she ran from her problems like she always does. This time was different, Sydney ran right to her ex- boyfriend, Dallas. With pure anger and revenge coursing through her veins, Dallas tries to help her out and fix her problems before she could fall in that down spiral again. But what happens when taking care of a few problems turns into making more problems? Can they get through this life altering complication? Second book in the Chaos series. Can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the first book, Drowning in Chaos first. This book also has a character with a strong religion stand point and another character with an opposite religious stand point. Just know that I am not hating on anything, my babies. It's a work of fiction.

Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

***THIS STORY WILL BECOME FREE ON JULY15th!*** Beverly Curie only lives for herself (and maybe ice cream). When her three nieces are suddenly put under her care, she must do the impossible: think about someone other than herself. Beverly is the only member of her family left in Chestnut Ridge, where she's kept the same routine for eight years: do as little work as possible during the day, marathon sitcoms in the evening, and try (for the life of her) to get everyone to leave her alone. When she loses her position at Red Ribbon's Craft Store, Beverly is left without a job and without a paycheck. Then her estranged sister, Aimee, calls with an impossible favor: Could Beverly take care of her three nieces for six months? It's insane. But then there's the thirty thousand dollars that Aimee offers to pay and Beverly can't resist. Suddenly, she's stuck taking care of three little girls, trying not to kill the soccer moms at the snobby Percival Academy, and joining the PTO. Now Beverly--self-serving, sarcastic, and problematic--must take on the role of a loving parent. And she is anything but.
