After a misunderstanding with the diamonds, and ultimately being abandoned for a second time, Spinel heads back to Earth! And with her arrival back to Earth brings urgent and vital information about Homeworld. Will Steven and the gems be able to cheer up Spinel and solve the new problem infesting Homeworld? PS. All of the nexo knights have been living in peace after the destruction of the Colossus, well all except one. Clay stopped sleeping and when he does he only sleeps for an hour because of nightmares about his mother and sometimes he just gets angry and does not know why. Merlock and the knights are worried about him but every time they ask him about it he just brushes it off. And one day, when they are in a fight with some monsters Clay gets kidnapped by his mother and Monstrox and things turn to the worst.

So... This is a story about Clay's mom and Merlok's sister, Wanda Moorington. Nothing much to say, you'll have to read the story to understand, lol The story might not be real, 'cuz it's just my opinion :) But, some parts are indeed real. (Most of them are not LOL ) Without further ado, let's begin! Still, this story takes place during the tech infection season. Forgive me, for the chapters are not too long... :)

No, you were not a corrupt gem - not in the slightest. Though, your people on Homeworld considered you to be nothing but a myth - a Diamond covered in a shade of darkness. You were Black Diamond, an isolated gem that was never known to see the other bright and colourful gems that flourished on your planet. Was White keeping you hidden to prevent you from being rejected, or were you just needed to be kept under her shadow - composed of an overprotective cage? Everything would begin to change when you found yourself on Planet Earth and in the eyes of Crystal Gems. Can a gem that doesn't glitter so bright find acceptance. . . Or maybe love?
