Y/n was April O'Neils big sister, well that's what she liked to call herself. Really she was adopted and didn't look anythings like April, but she still loved her. After the fir in her father's lab she was experimented on and her DNA was modified so she would stay 19 forever. After escaping her captors she went into the sewers, only to be greeted by her deceased fathers own experiments. Four baby turtles and a, now, giant rat. [Looking back on this I hate the way I wrote it so I'm going over it and rewriting some things]

A woman walks along an empty street. Her head aches and throbs. Her body is changing. And also dying. When Leo finds a woman walking alone, he merely watches. Until something, no-one should ever have to go through, happens. Leo finds himself and his family suddenly thrust into another fight to save the world. Except this time, no-one can see what is coming. Can Leo, his brothers, and an unlikely new species save the world from yet more danger? *WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!! This story takes place after the not-so-recent movie, 'Out of the Shadows'. Mikey and the turtles are fighting for their lives. When Mikey takes a hit for Don it goes down hill. Don does fix him but his bros ignore him. Is this some sick joke or more?

'Love. Donnie couldn't help but ponder what that word really meant in this circumstance. You were not exclusively his, nor vice versa, so what did 'I love you' truly mean in this position? He thought about how distant the true meaning of 'love' had drifted from the word itself in his own mind; he'd heard the word so many times that it had nearly lost its meaning. Almost as if it undermined the true severity of what it implied. The word was strong and important, but not sacred. At least not within his family. DId that make his feelings significant anymore? What would it mean to love someone, to truly love someone, if the word lost all meaning?'
