The Earth is dying, yet humanity survives. Pollution and radiation run rampant on the surface. The government rations food and clean air for everyone. The glass domes provide some sense of security, but they are only for the rich who can afford the astronomical price of providing precious clean air to a whole city. Nym and her family live outside the dome when the disease breaks out. Spreading through the Minor City Shelter and then to Shelter's around other cities, nothing seems capable of stopping it. People are going mad and dying off like flies. There's no cure they can find. They only know one thing. Their last precious resource is going to be the death of them. **1st place in the Golden Writer Awards (2020) - Science Fiction** **1st place in the 2020 Rosie Awards - Science Fiction** **1st place in the Witchcraft Awards - Science Fiction** Starfarers are professional space-traversing mercenaries with a go-get-'em attitude. For Jim and Liz, there are very few jobs they won't accept, so long as they get paid. However, when they accept their newest contract, the assassination of a high-value target, it isn't about the credits--it's about revenge. It should be an easy gig, but what Jim and Liz fail to realize is just how busy their target has been for the last six years. Content Warning: This book is intended for adults only. It contains graphic depictions of violence, sexuality, strong language, and other mature themes. Cover design by Grant M. Gerwatowski. Fonts by Raymond Larabie and Font-a-licious.

[MOVED TO PATREON] It's not supposed to snow in the South Forest, but the weather in the second-emptiest corner of Shelha is not the only thing behaving strangely. When an ex-tyrant started acting up again, Sethral had hoped it meant the end of lazy days and monotonous, lengthening winters. She is starting to regret what she wished for. Winter the Mountainair has settled in the south, forfeiting her migratory habits and taking a renewed interest in a lifestyle she dropped years ago. Just why is a mystery, but then again, most things about her are. It takes a handful of new friends for Sethral to realize there are still creatures who know who Winter used to be. It takes Winter's reaction to their friendship to realize the tyrant would rather those creatures disappear. Now the peace of the forest may rest on finding those who can help reassemble the world's past and Winter's... before Winter finds them herself. ❖❖❖ Book I of the Stories of Shelha series, a work only split into books because nobody picks up an epic on Wattpad ;) Comments and critiques are welcome. **1st Place in the 2019 Ruby Awards for Humor** Since creation, humankind has promptly freaked out over three big truths: the existence of the omnipresent Writer, the World apparently being a massive hibernating lifeform, and the roving voice in the sky, known as the Narrator, solely existing to entertain the other gods at humanity's expense. The Narrator's newest adventurer is Horluf, a poor man in a big city with a chance to win a fortune. Before anything good happens, the Narrator's all-knowing knowledge falters and things take a turn for the worst, right before more adventurers tie themselves into the story. There's Dun, who needs a fortune of his own to pay off a mobster; Sinclair, a mute and loyal friend with brave intentions; John Carl, a theatrically-merry debt collector and proud owner of a sharp axe; and an impossible "metal man," who really isn't any more absurd than the otherworldly servant with a slight memory problem. With varied levels of enthusiasm, they decide to seek out a haunted treasure with a bizarre and violent past, while the Narrator makes do with a tale that continually strays further away from what was ever intended. (A Narrator's Tale: The Dubious Efforts of Poor Men is a comic-fantasy / meta-fiction novel. What you see here on Wattpad is a SAMPLE of the full novel of the same name. I have included as much as possible--10% of the story--so that I may be able to at least share that much. See the first "part" of this story for more details.)
