After a small and silly comment blew up in the suggwell household, joe and diannes worst ever argument ended in a wrecked house, regretful actions and ultimately a break up after 5 whole years together. With both of them trying to move on, contact between them is lost in the course of trying to get over the heartbreak however, their paths cross on a drunken night out and everything changes. but after everything they had recently endured... will getting back together even be an option? Or Can they get over the obstacles thrown at them?

When suddenly-single Dianne gets asked to be in her cousin's wedding she realizes there's a lot more to being a Maid of Honor than holding the bouquet - including facing her overbearing family, the small Australian town she left two years prior, and a meddling ex. Dreading showing up alone, Dianne makes a split second decision, catapulting her into a whirlwind of comical errors, resulting in a haphazard plan, a surprisingly charming stranger, and just maybe - true love. Another overly cheesy Joe and Dianne "alternate universe" story based on the 2005 movie, "The Wedding Date".

Watching Joe and Dianne playing Sims 4 during lockdown inspired me to write this story. It follows the Suggwells as they build a home, build a relationship, and build a life together. The structure of the story is similar to that of 'New Girl' by Rzar123. I haven't copied (I swear!), but I was inspired by the idea of having each chapter set over the course of a month. And, as the story unfolds, you'll hopefully understand why I've paced it that way. But if you like a slow-burn romance, this story ain't it! For those who have watched the Sim's videos, you'll know that everything happened very quickly in that game. So, I've tried to slow the pace down a bit; but the story will still require some suspension of disbelief (well, more than my previous stories!), so please try to humour me! This won't play out in exactly the same way as the series did, but there are certain plot points from the videos that I will be including. And although I've tried to make it as realistic as possible, the story is still quite satirical and doesn't take itself too seriously! All comments, feedback and suggestions are welcome, and I will try to take them on board.
