He had known that messing up this last assignment would have massive consequences. Never in his life did he; Lincoln Monroe age thirty-one, thought that he would be sitting here, face to face with the mysterious King of sin. Lord and master of the Pleasure district. He had gotten word that his and his partner's covers were blown and his partner was killed. Since his wife divorced him when it was clear that they couldn't have children because he was impotent, his partner signed him up as his next of kin. His partner never had any kind of contact with his parents or any other family members. Now he sits here in this plush office listening to the most erotic voice he ever heard, telling him that his partner had a five million dollar debt with the King of sin. How in God's name is he, the now forced to retire cop going to pay it off? There is no way his meager savings or last few paychecks can pay it off.

Hope Montoya knows someone is poisoning her, but who? She suspects her mother was also poisoned and knows her father was murdered. Who wants her family eliminated? She vows to fight!
