El mundo siempre ha estado habitado por más que solo humanos. Licántropos, vampiros, cazadores de sangre, hibridos... Sin embargo, toda comunidad tiene sus leyes y quienes se ocupan de que estas leyes sean cumplidas, para nosotros, estos eran los cazadores de sangre, humanos híbridos con la sangre tóxica para un vampiro y el aroma hipnotizante para un licántropo. Es así que en la antiguedad, los clanes de vampiros y licántropos habian firmado un tratado de tregua con los cazadores de sangre, donde éstos últimos se habían proclamado reyes de todo y mantenían a raya a las otras especies, velando por el bienestar de los humanos. Pero como toda regla, había una excepción, y ésta era precisamente los híbridos. Todo cazador de sangre era un híbrido pero no todos los híbridos terminaban siendo cazadores de sangre. Los híbridos eran mitad humanos y mitad vampiros o licántropos, y éstos podían o no tener el gen de cazador de sangre activo, al tener la mitad del ADN humano, éstos eran inmunes a las habilidades de los cazadores de sangre, por lo que la creación de estas criaturas estaba estrictamente prohibido, ya que eran utilizados como armas en contra de los cazadores de sangre.

War tenía un pequeño (gran) crush con Yin desde los quince años. La realidad era que el omega se convertía en un manojo de nervios cuando estaba frente al alfa, dejando de ser aquel muchacho extrovertido y parlanchín. Su paz interior se alteraba, y su instinto natural lo traicionaba. Y eso solo se intensificó cuando el castaño recién graduado optó por volver a la institución que lo formó como profesionista, para impartir un taller que le liberaría los créditos de su pasantía.
