This takes place like in season 2 kinda of the same plot but it's a couple days after the kiss between Betty and Archie. They haven't talked about it. They had no idea what their true feelings were of each other.

I'm a big bughead shipper but this past season has been rough on them and I feel like there is a deeper connection to Betty and Archie than we realize. I like that they have history and are best friends and after episode 2x08 I have hope they will end up together at some point.
