No one ever said what would happen when dragons and aliens meet. And no one told me that I would be in the middle of it. Tasha was studying hard to get through her last year of university when she was kidnapped. She certainly didn't expect to wake up with four feet and wings. Mad scientists are bad enough, but things get even more complicated when aliens appear and wipe out the human race. Is there a way for her to hide her true identity in this new world while retaining her humanity? --------------------- Sneak Peek: I jumped over the lip of the tray and beat down hard with my wings. I had expected to only slow my fall; I had not expected to end up gaining so much height. I squawked in surprise and spread my wings wide in alarm before gravity regained its hold on me. With several awkward back-winging motions of my wings, I landed lightly on the floor. Well, at least I know my wings work. I glanced at the man in the corner as he was scribbling quick notes. I turned around to regard the tray again. They say practice makes perfect. With another hop and a single wingbeat, I managed to land in the sand tray with fanned wings slowing my momentum. That was much more graceful. But a wing-assisted hop wasn't true flight. And I still wasn't on the windowsill. ---------------------------- Entire semi-polished draft can be read on Wattpad. Knowing that he has only one year left of being a hunter, he wants to put every bit of himself into the given deed, however, he finds himself doubting himself and his goals. Humans aren't his only worry though. Incent lives in a world where demons walk among them and being a hunter means he must exterminate them. But could he exterminate a living human for his King? And what happens when his victim becomes far too interesting to remove from his life? Highest Ranking: #160 in Fantasy Excerpt: "The talisman was a long, curved piece of gold, inlaid with small diamonds along the edges. It was almost like a boomerang, except it was smaller and had ornate carvings of old Pagan runes on it that could, unfortunately, no longer be read by any man or woman still walking on Earth. Par quickly picked up everything that had fallen out of his bag before he threw it on his back saying "grab on," and extended his hand towards mine. I rolled my eyes at his dramatic speech and took his offered hand." *This wonderful cover was created by @holmesfapel - check out the stories there too!!!

Horst McKenzie is a happy person... or at least, that's what he'd say if you asked him. It's also what he tries to make everyone believe, including himself, but as the hybrid son of a werewolf and a satyr, he is a living, breathing remnant from an otherwise traumatic and unwanted experience... and the shadow of that reality has followed him his whole life. But he's fine now! He has to be. The last five years of working on his relationships have paid off: his father's happy, his pack is flourishing, the alliances they've made over the years with other werewolves are rock solid, and he has a roof over his head. Food on the table. A comfortable place to sleep. Everything is too perfect to complain. Until it very suddenly isn't. In the same month that a covert underground program called the V.R.C. sends the very first vampire applicant to ever take the cure for a disease called Blood Rabies to live with him, for rehabilitation purposes, Horst also meets the one person he hates more than anyone else on the planet: the satyr who orchestrated an assault on his father and caused every single hardship in his life. Little by little, his brilliantly fake smile begins to fray. Little by little, the perfect picture of a happy future begins to crack. And little by little, the shadow he tries so hard to ignore looms larger over his horns. 🌻💛💗💛🌻 (This is the sequel to SLEEPSONG) Content warning: Please note that this story contains: - mild sexual/sensual scenes and references (much later) - mentions of sexual assault - depression Thanks to my cover artist - PaperRabbitsArt on twitter Copyright © by Aaron Ledgers. This is book 5 of the cross-shifter series and a continuation of sorts for Whiskers. Happiness wasn't something that you earned. It was something that you killed for. Del had worked hard to be able to be alive on his eighteenth birthday. He'd lived in the wild, killed countless people, and managed to start up a business strictly for shape-shifters that went against everything that was seemingly right in the world. His only problem now that things were finally going his way besides the annoying return of a father he never knew and his frustrating feline mate? A human, of course.
