Virgil's world is turned upside down when he discovers secrets about his past and uncovers more mysteries in the process. He is removed from his comfortable home in the Coven of the Rising Star when he goes through a Portal to "The Other". He finds himself in a place called "New York City", a frightening and dangerous place for someone like him. He is grateful to meet a sane person, Logan Booker. Logan's perfect life is obliterated when Virgil enters his life. He had never believed Thomas when he spoke about 'magic' or 'an alternate dimension' or 'witches' or any of that crap. But he has no choice but to believe it when Virgil drops into his life. They are so different, and yet they work so well together....

At the age of ten the first word or words your soulmate will speak to you appear tattooed on your arm. For some it is something as simple as a simple "hello." For others it is something a bit more complex. Depending on the color of your tattoo that will determine the type of relationship you and your soulmate will have. Pink for platonic. Red for romantic. White if your soulmate has died before you've met them. Light grey if it's not destined to work. But, what if your words are a mixture of colors or a color that is not one of the four known ones? What then? Is there even a point of looking forward to finding them? Does it mean the relationship is meant to be something more? Or are they just words without meaning? Virgil had heard the rumors of the ghost that haunted his school building. He never was one to believe in the paranormal, but while staying after school in the library one day he starts to wonder if maybe everyone was right. Book Warnings: Mentions of blood, detailed descriptions of injuries and death/murder, mentions of bullying and violence. (This book was originally a oneshot in my Sanders Sides Oneshots 2 book, but I decided to add the parts of it into their own little book. This was only supposed to be a short story with like 5 parts but here we are now.......)
