I'm fine. But what does it mean? A phrase said for years but usually meaning a lie. A settlement for how something could be? Or a false testimony for the way that I'm feeling? Raindrops of Reality is a personal collection of poems, with the will to translate various emotions through a rather free form of writing. «Io? Io sono un uomo triste per natura» -Il popolo dell' autunno, Ray Bradbury Nell'antichità molte malattie potevano essere spiegate come un disordine delle quattro sostanze basilari che determinano il funzionamento dell' organismo: sangue, flemma, bile e bile nera. Un salasso (prelievo di sangue) poteva ripristinare l'equilibrio perduto. Il termine 'malinconia' letteralmente significa "bile nera". È composto dalle due parole greche mélaina (scuro, nero) e cholé (bile), usate dagli antichi greci per indicare una sostanza, la bile nera appunto, che essi consideravano causa dell'umore triste e malinconico. Una super produzione della sostanza avrebbe provocato però sentimenti tristi e apatici. Ed ecco che scrivere poesie diventa un tentativo di terapia per guarire il mio costante malessere, sottraggo bile nera per scriverci versi e stabilire un mio equilibrio. Un viaggio dove il presente si raffronta con la Psiche, l'Infinito, le Radici, il Passato e il Futuro
