Izaya doesn't particularly care if he's put in one or not, ass long as he's able to keep sane. And only Heiwajima Shizuo can help him. The only problem is why is Izaya in an asylum? When Izaya becomes and self harming alcoholic, will Shizuo set aside his pride to help him? Or will he give up on a Bipolar depressed Izaya?

What Shizuo didn't know was that Izaya had been suffering. He had been alone for as long as he could remember and the only purpose he found in his life was trying to get Shizuo's attention. But when Shizuo gave up, so did Izaya. No one knew. Izaya always loved humans, but since he didn't consider himself a human, he couldn't love himself.

How can you look Death in the face, when you never believed in him in the first place. Healing begins when you realize that you are not alone.
