A sequel to Hey Brother (One Chicago). Would recommend reading that one first. It's been a year since the tragedy. Lia still has so many unanswered questions, but a lot has changed. There's still a lot life is going to throw at her. But the question is, will she be ready to take it on or will this be the final straw?

When Bucky supposedly dies and disappears from not only his girlfriend, but the whole team, she finds comfort in his best friend. That's all I'm saying. A fanfic that includes the reader as the main character. Steve is the main love interest, even though it starts differently. Doesn't associate to any of the movies so not many references are made. Sort of, as if civil war never happened and Bucky now lives with the avengers. These characters aren't mine, but the story line is.
