All your life, you have never taken life seriously, it's been a 'jest'. At least, until, life doesn't take you seriously and you've become the jest. Who would've known that daydreaming for too long could begin to be harmful? Being a freshman in your strict city of foundation can be hard; being pressured to move on to a more complex and mature society, can unveil that everyone has a breaking point. You didn't want to become trapped in this cage of never-ending demand, and let go of your past freedom... so your mind broke. Your reality shattered. The government wants everyone to successfully build a distributive, productive lifestyle-and those who are found to be unsuccessful at this, are poisonous to the society... They 'disappear'. As the president says, "Daydreamers have no place in reality." This unfortunate "sickness", or "condition", has been classified as IOD: Illness of daydreaming. Is the world of freedom that you've always daydreamed about, or the trapped world the government has provided, the true reality? Will you be able to escape the government's order and use your IOD , to your advantage; your chance to escape the society's cage? You must keep your condition a secret from the always-watching government, after all, it's better left unsaid than dead.

This story is about a girl named Britney (me) and its about what goes on in her life. Middle school drama, boyfriend troubles etc. She has a very bad past with her mum, she just grew up too fast. She meets some friends, loses some friends, makes new friends on the internet and eventually meeting her "Internet bestie"

I dunno. Though this story is published to the public, it isn't really for the public. So, if you don't know me, then this story, overall, won't make sense to you. This story is by my friends and I and for my friends and I. Or maybe not. I'd personally just like to have this here, so I'll always remember. The cover and its art is by me. I may use art by others in this story, but I most likely won't.
