The rise of Alt-Rock band Catfish and the Bottlemen brings with it recognition, fame, and compromise. Lead singer and founding member Van McCann has learned to balance all three of these over the course of the band's ride to fame, but there's one thing he's never gotten used to; loneliness. During a tour of the states and the writing and recording process of the band's fourth studio album, Van finds himself caught in a situation involving the girl he could never have, and her addiction to the toxic things in her life.

When Katherine Wells falls for her favorite band, Catfish and the Bottlemen's lead singer, Van McCann, she thinks nothing of it. Just an anxiety-ridden girl with a silly crush that'll never work out. But once she learns the feelings are mutual, how will Van cope with being left on the outside?
