Obianuju, an orphaned teenager, faces a journey marked by scorching travail. After losing her grandmother and being left at the mercy of a capricious Nigerian society, she is made to pass through the injustice of modern day servitude, domestic trafficking and child labour. Despite struggling to integrate this reality with basic life challenges as a sixteen year old, she is able to sustain the drive to fight for a brighter future. Memorable words from her Nne keep her motivated through hard times, on the path towards liberation. She never stops believing in her right to dignity and existential fulfillment.

It had never been like this for Daniel Jones. In fact, it had always been smooth and rosy, but everything changed when a mysterious stranger appeared. ☆ Daniel's first time in a club - and definitely his last( so he thought) - is with his lousy roommate on a Friday night. However, the unexpected happens when he meets someone in the club who changes his life forever; someone who exposes him to raw emotions he never knew existed: emotions such as pain, hatred, jealousy and above all, LOVE in its intensity. The cool-headed, nerdy, and bookworm Daniel becomes a hot-tempered and violent man who would do anything to protect the woman he met in just one night - a night he would forever live to remember.
