Some stories are not lost in time-they're buried in silence. They were once four. Now they are three. Three brothers, bound by blood but fractured by guilt, live in the long shadow of a night that shattered them forever. The eldest carries a weight he cannot name-haunted by the moment he turned his back, the argument that sent his younger brother out into the darkness, never to return. The other two wander through the ruins of their shared grief, unable to mourn what they refuse to believe is truly gone. They cling to memories, to hope, to a presence that still lingers like an echo in the walls. But everything begins to shift when a musical sensation-a rising star with a past cloaked in secrets-is forced to share their home. Charismatic, elusive, and uncomfortably perceptive, he becomes a mirror they're not ready to face. He doesn't ask questions, but somehow, he makes them think-of their brother, their choices, their silence. Of the truth they've tried so hard to forget. And then... the nights start to change. The air grows heavy. Whispers from the past begin to bleed into the present. What really happened that night? As unspoken truths claw their way to the surface and illusions crumble one by one, the brothers must confront a terrifying possibility: that the tragedy they thought they understood is only the beginning. Because some disappearances are not accidents. Some truths are not meant to be found. And some ghosts never truly leave. Illusion is a haunting tale of fractured brotherhood, buried secrets, and the thin line between guilt and deception-where the past is a maze, and not everyone wants you to find the exit.

An elder brother, once the pillar of strength and love, now lives a life of solitude, miles away from the warmth and laughter of his family. The irreconcilable differences with his younger brother, the middle child, have left an unbridgeable chasm in their relationships, shattering the family's harmony. The family's youngest sibling, a curious and wonder-filled soul, has grown up listening to stories about his elusive eldest brother from their parents. These tales have sparked a deep sense of longing within him, and he yearns to meet the brother he has never known. As he navigates the complexities of life, his desire to connect with his eldest brother has only intensified, and he often finds himself pondering about the what-ifs of their relationship. The parents, caught in the midst of their sons' conflicts, continue to harbor a deep longing for their eldest son to return to their lives. Memories of happy times, laughter, and warmth flood their minds, and they yearn to relive those moments. Despite the pain and heartache that their eldest son's departure has caused, they hold on to the hope that one day, he will return to them, and their family will be whole once again. As the years go by, the question remains: will the eldest son find his way back into the family dynamic? Will the love and longing that bind the family together be enough to overcome the pain and heartache of the past, or will the wounds run too deep? And Ice cream. The message popped up again. His Bhaiyu was making it hard to ignore. Darwaza khol, yaar. Mogambo uth jayenge. Ansh glared at the French windows. Even desperate his Bhaiyu would not quit the name calling. Shall I leave? Ansh did not respond. Okay! Leaving the ice-cream outside. Take it before it melts. Ansh did not respond, but his heart skipped a beat. He wanted to meet his Bhaiyu. He was even a little desperate, but he did not wish to give in so soon. So, he counted until 100 and then slowly made his way outside. Iris hopped down from the bed and followed behind him. Ansh opened the doors with a big heart only to find a basket filled with dumb yellow smile squishes and a big tub of ice-cream in between. A few CD's were tucked into the basket almost as an afterthought. The game CD's that Ansh wanted. Ansh glared at the basket. "Do minute nahi rukh saktey they kya?" He muttered under his breath. "You made me wait 17 minutes, kidoo" A voice whispered in his ears. Ansh almost screamed but Nirbhay's palm closed around his mouth before any sound could slip. Ansh's heart thudded in his chest. His Bahiyu had almost given him a heart attack. Nirabhay grabbed the basket and slipped inside with Ansh, and shut the door behind him.
