Despite the endless sunlight of the Alaskan summer, Kaylie and her younger brother, Vinny, are in the Dark. The more they learn about the gods they have studied their whole lives, the more they don't understand. The two siblings must navigate these divine mysteries as well as the foster system in order for them-- and the entire universe--to stay together.
