Everyone has the mark representing their soulmate on their dominant wrist. Some try to decipher the mark and go looking for their soulmate. Some refuse the mark, and say they fall in love with who they want. Most, though, just live their lives as is, while occasionally checking sir mark to see if they have a clue of what it means. /\ more information on plot in the opening /\ Bakugou tries to decipher his mark, but doesn't go searching for the name he continuously tries to find, and just figures if he runs into them, he'll figure it out then. Kirishima goes about his life, while constantly being nagged on who his soulmate is. Mina and Midoriya both focus most of their time outside of class and training trying to decipher not only their own, but their friend's marks as well. It's their freshman year at UA. Bakugou and Kirishima have become friends, and have been so for a few months now. Bakugou has an interest in Kirishima, but acts as though he doesn't, trying to not fall in love before meeting his soulmate.
