The story tells of the hanahaki syndrome Hanahaki Disease (花吐き病 (Japanese); 하나하키병 (Korean); 花吐病 (Chinese)) is a fictional disease in which the victim coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. It ends when the beloved returns their feelings (romantic love only; strong friendship is not enough), or when the victim dies. Snufkin comes back early to Moominvalley, but what he finds surprises him, making him get out of his character to enter into a world of unknown jealousy and anxiety.

It's now or... eventually. Moomin HAS to tell his feelings...! If he doesn't, Snufkin will know eventually from Little My. But every time he sees Snufkin, he feels like he just wants to stare and never speak.

Moomin discovers he loves Snufkin, but someone else also knows... Of course, Little My has to know, but what would she do with this information?

The confession is just getting close and now My wants in on the action! She wants to make sure that Moomin confesses...! Will this end well? We can only hope so!
