Marinette is now able to hold a normal conversation with Adrien, so when Adrien gets to know Marinette better, his kwami, Plagg, notices Adrien has started to develop a soft spot for the bluenette. Adrien tries to convince Plagg that Marinette is "just a friend". Meanwhile, Marinette's kwami, Tikki, notices her miraculous holder has developed a soft spot for the feline superhero, Chat Noir. Marinette denies it and tries to convince Tikki that he's again, "just a friend". I do not own any of the characters, they all belong to the creators of Miraculous Ladybug

Adrien and Marinette became very close friends in middle school continued on into high school. Even though Marinette still has a crush on the kind and sweet model, she has been able to control her stuttering so he doesn't think something is wrong with her. This story takes place in 11th grade, or third year of high school. The two become even closer when Chloe starts bullying Marinette and she needs to rely on Adrien, Alya, and Nino to keep her as her normal, bubbly, and sassy self. When someone hits the year of 13 in their life, a clock appears on the inside of their right wrist to the countdown of meeting their soulmate. However, even though you may have already met your soulmate, the countdown is to a special moment that will happen between you and your soulmate. That special moment is when the two soulmates realize their feelings for each other. What will happen with the Miraculous Ladybug characters and their soulmate clocks?? Read to find out! But Marinette still chooses not to talk to Adrien and tell him that she is his adored Ladybug. With Marinette acting more and more awkward around ChatNoir, it is even more worse with Adrien himself.
