Everyone knows that going to a new school can be tough, especially when you're like y/n. Quiet, soft, and easily frightened. She tries her best to stay out of other's way and keep away from the bullies. Gerard isn't exactly the nicest guy at school. Him and his friends are the school's punks. No one messes with them or God knows what'll happen. So the boys always take advantage of their power to do whatever they want, and get whatever they want. And Gerard just so happens to want y/n. Gerard tells her that he's going to 'protect' her from the bad guys, when really he is one. Will he get this soft girl's heart? Or will she do what she can to stay away from him?

At first Lainey thinks he just happens to be a very gorgeous but cliche goody two shoes priest. But she's wrong, there's more beyond a book than it's cover and the longer she spend at the school the more things she notices that are 'off' about him.
