Another problem is that a lot of children, teenagers, and adults don't understand a person who has a disability, whether it's autism spectrum disorder, visual impairment, or emotional disturbance. They may not understand because maybe they haven't had a relative with a disability before. And they might call someone "stupid" or "hopeless". Lastly, a family will always have conflicts to deal with in life. But a family cannot be upset forever. Even though conflicts can be difficult sometimes, it is important to solve them positively. It is also important to stay positive and move forward. Fourteen-year-old Jordan Lance the rabbit deals with bullies at his new school in Dawn Palm Acres because he has autism. His family also faces the reality of coping and grieving when Jordan's mother takes away his life as well as hers. With life moving forward, Jordan's family learns how to remain positive and proceed with life.
