When Aunt May dies, Peter is adopted by Tony Stark. However, anywhere Peter goes his friends (AKA the Ultimates) follow. Unfortunately for them Fury has decided they need to do a mission together with the Avengers. It also doesn't help Tony is trying to find out Spider-Man and the other Ultimates' identities. The Avengers, Nick Fury, as well as the teen heroes of S.H.I.E.L.D Academy are forced to team up with a group of common villains to try and beat this new threat. All Peter and Tony had to do was cross the mountains. That's it. Just climb a few hills and get to the annual Stark Convention. Tony wanted to try something different, a father-son trip as opposed to just taking the boring old private jet. Maybe stop at a cabin on the way back, taking a little family vacation. They didn't count on the snow, or the wind, or the fact that neither of them have cell service. And they definitely didn't count on the fact that they would be hunted-stalked-as they sit, freezing and shaking, on the side of the road.
