A couple of months passed since the great war with Gaea and the demigods of New Rome and Camp Half-Blood have gotten along. They visit and have fun like any (relatively) normal demigod life, but that is until Apollo "accidentally" heard one of his cousins sing. Nobody knew he could sing except his mom. Not even his girlfriend that he's known for a long time. So now Apollo, who was bored and that's why he heard snooping around the demigod, is going to have the demigods with an unknown hidden talent show it to the world. By karaoke. Why? But plans can get a lot more complicated when you add in an unexpected variable; a boy from District 4 who Annabeth is having conflicting feelings for. Let the 69th Hunger Games begin.

Percy Jackson has always been a troublemaker child. Ever since life dropped the Gabe-bomb on him. Fights, bad grades, suicidal thoughts. The seven plus Thalia, Nico, Calypso, and Reyna go to Goode high school. For all you percy jackson lovers. I do not own any PJO or Heroes of olympus characters Rick Riordan does and he's awesome. One thing to say all-though this is a fanfiction and the idea of "demigods going to high school" is a pretty widespread idea the specific things that happen in this book are MY idea and they should stay that way. So basically don't copy.

The other Selected, which include Piper McLean, Hazel Levesque, and Reyna Ramírez-Arellano, admit to Annabeth that they too have been followed by shadows. Strange dreams plague the Selected, and their shadows seem to be hiding within the people surrounding them. Just as Annabeth slowly starts to fall in love, several murders occur, and several of the Selected fall as victim. Annabeth soon reveals the biggest truth of all: the Selection isn't meant to find love; it's meant to find those who are different. And once they're found, the world may never be the same. The Selected were promised love, and they found it, though not in the expected way. But as darkness falls upon the palace and friends turn on each other, can love save them?

A widely mocked, annoyingly attractive troublemaker with a slightly unhealthy taste for black clothes.
