It seemed that all Savannah Benson would amount to was a mess. An unstable girl who couldn't erase her past, and let her demons continue to haunt her day after day, night after night. There was too much wrong with her to even consider fixing her. With no hope for change and a life full of never-ending issues, someone suddenly comes along to throw her off her self-loathing, cold-shoulder routine. The possibility of letting them in doesn't seem so hard, which is the one thing she fears the most, except she can't help it. It's the easiest thing that's happened to her in a long time, and that's what makes it so terrifying. This is not a fairy tale where everyone lives happily ever after - this is a story about love, loss, and every struggle in between. It might break your heart, but at least you'll feel something. ⚡️⚡️⚡️ "and when i need the fire, you're always my l i g h t e r" « #freementalillness »

He is nothing but an urban legend. The ghost from a past which we would rather forget. But our ghosts don't forget about us. The singularity war between humans and renegade androids ended in 2049. Twenty-five years ago. Humans emerged victorious, but only with the help from loyal androids who did not turn their back on humanity... and as a 'reward' for their service, they were shut down. Deemed too dangerous to be part of society. Camilo, a twenty-two-year-old college student, is a vocal protestor against the decision to terminate all androids after the war. Of course, this has nothing to do with his admiration of spectre model Z-3293, also known as 'Zed.' An android who saved the entire European continent from a bioweapon airstrike which would have wiped out all life. Nowadays, 'Zed' is seen as nothing more than trite pro-android propaganda. Nobody took Camilo seriously until one day he found model Z-3293, fully up and functioning, behind his apartment building.

REMOVED April 9, 2024 One notorious gay heartbreaker. One homophobic ex-best friend and his kleptomaniac brother. Mix in a sex tape, commitment issues, and some explosive chemistry. The illusion of Dreyden's perfect life can't survive this disaster. ***** Dreyden is very good at being who others wants him to be. He's an obedient, church-going son, a perfect student, the life of every party. Maintaining the equilibrium means staying in the closet at home, so it's lucky his parents don't suspect a thing when he lies. When others are happy, it's easy to forget that he isn't. After one drunk night gets out of control, Dreyden dumps his loving boyfriend rather than admit to what he did. Adrift and increasingly alienated from his friends, he finds himself sucked into Orion's dysfunctional orbit. Orion has a habit of taking things that don't belong to him, but what's worse is his angry, homophobic brother, who used to be Dreyden's best friend. Bad habits might be harder to escape than the gravity of unwanted feelings, but maybe Dreyden's equilibrium isn't as stable as he pretends. And maybe Orion is about to disrupt it all, whether Dreyden is ready or not. It's just a shame that bad people don't get happy endings. ***** Contains sexual content, profanity, underage substance use, and themes of consent, mental health, homophobia, and coming out. *featured on Wattpad's "Stories to Read OUT Loud" list* Complete at 137k words.

Worldwide nuclear warfare decimated the Earth in 2045. Shortly after the destruction, The Council emerged. They proposed one solution: send the most valuable survivors to Kepler-168F, a planet with similar conditions to Earth. At eighteen, Etta Parker became one of the Chosen. Her ruthlessness and cunning were unmatched in combat, earning her the reputation as "the bringer of death" in the historically renowned trials. At the age of twenty-five, Etta Parker's life changed. On Kepler-168F, a woman's duty is to marry and produce children, however valuable they are deemed to be. Etta refuses to give up her life to become a mother. She cannot wipe the image of her own mother, a bullet wound penetrating her stomach, her mouth fixated in a silent scream. The Council had murdered her. Etta wasn't going to allow them to bully her into a life she didn't want to live. She craves power and freedom - and she'll seize them by any means.
