Bruce Wayne has always been a solo act. He separates himself from everyone to ensure that he won't crumble when they eventually leave him. Clark Kent surrounds himself with the people that he loves. He has family, friends, the League, and a crush on a certain masked superhero.

After Bruce's parents are killed, he ends up taking a trip to the Kent's farm in Smallville, Kanas. The two boys spend there summers together, and end up becoming really good friends but, when they turn sixteen things seem to change a bit as their feelings start to surface for one another.
