When Lauren finds a seemingly cute puppy by the side of the road, she decides to take it in. Convincing her other roommate to let them keep such a cute pup with wolf-like features wasn't hard, but when they wake up in the morning to find its not a dog, or wolf for that matter, things get a little complicated. Camila has such a natural instinct of being over protective, curious, and over all, oblivious to most things. Though she's a quick learner, Lauren struggles to help Camila fit in.

"But what is that?" Camila questioned, pointing to the pink sand dunes in the horizon. Lauren's face hardened at the sight. "Those are the Badlands. We don't go there." Camila looked terrified, she didn't know where she was or how she got here but now it seems this Lauren girl was her only chance of surviving. If this really was going to be the case, Camila predicted her death to occur by the end of the week. After all, Lauren could only drive her crazy.

Summary: Lauren Jauregui is an immigration lawyer for the state of New York. Camila Cabello is a Mexican/Cuban born "immigrant" trying to avoid deportation. Though a portion of her nationality is Cuban, she was born in Mexico and therefore is ineligible to receive permanent residence under the Cuban Adjustment Act. She researches and finds that she can get an adjustment of status if she marries a U.S. citizen, simultaneously ridding the possibility of deportation. It isn't set in stone but Camila is willing to give it a try.
