após o torneio do poder Freeza consegue uma forma maligna que quase não consegue controlar por isso ele precisa treinar.numa luta contra Frost dourado Goku acaba conhecendo a forma das trevas e pede para Freeza treina-lo e no primeiro treinamento os dois comessam a sentir algo um pelo o outro
