The year is 2025 and WWIII has started between Russian armies and the United States armies. Sean William M. is a medic for all men at camp 0047 as part of "Operation Unthinkable".

Book 3 of the Iconia Continuum. The twelve tribes end up in the delta quadrant. After forming an alliance with the Federation representatives there, they help in the dominion war. Reading "Birth" and "Rise" first is a good idea.

The Cylons were made by mankind to make life easyer on the Twelve Colonies of Kobol. They evolved, they rebelled. After 12 year long bloody war, an armistence was declared. The Cylons left the Colonies to find a homeworld on their own. In the 10th year of the war, the Colonial Millitairy Fleet introduced a new type of warship; The Battlestar. Massive spaceships that carry small fighter craft and has gun batteries on its own. There were 12 Battlestars at first, the only four known were Midas, Zeus, Galactica and Athena. It is 40 years later, and Galactica is in the middle of a decomissioning. Athena is docked at the Scorpia Fleet Shipyards, while a mayor overhaul of its systems is almost complete.
