This is an AU where Izuku Midoriya is a mute. And his quirk is similar to the power and appearance of a Guardian Angel. What could possibly go wrong? He became friends with Katsuki Bakugo when they were still in diapers, both of them had high hopes to become heroes as both of them were huge fans of All Might. Everything came to a crashing halt when Izuku developed his own quirk though. Bakugo's quirk was something he prided himself in, something beautiful and destructive. AU: Blind+Sick When Kacchan and Izuku were little, Izuku got sick and was sent to the hospital for almost his entire life. During that time the illness took away Izuku's sight leaving him permanently blind at the age of 7. Deku was almost ready to give up on his dream of becoming a hero, but Kacchan didn't let this happen. Instead he found new ways to help Izuku through the blindness and even got him special combat training. Izuku is thankful for his friend to this day for helping him get into his dream school and for showing him the light in his dark world.

'I'm Izuku Midoriya. I have a really bad illness, it could kill me. I'm also quirkless, but I'm still going to be a hero! I will save peoples live with a smile, just like All Might!' That's what I used to think. Now, all I can think about is how not to overuse my new quirk to the point that I kill myself. That and the fact that I have only 6 known years left to live, if my condition gets any worse or I oush myself to hard... that could shorten a lot faster than I want it to.
