In the midst of the chaos that is the life of Milbank's Co-Sire, Darcy Salix, a member of the cohort turns up missing. Not a trace of her is left behind other than a split second of footage captured by the Cohort's cameras. Darcy felt in her gut something was amiss. She was never wrong about that, but what WAS wrong? Why had Katie, a former rival-turned friend, suddenly decided to walk out on the cohort and why hadn't anyone been able to stop her? Hell, why hadn't anyone seen her? Something was at work, but what, Darcy hadn't a clue. (Journey with me as we find out just what's happening in and around Milbank when no one is aware ;) )

A Vampire Cohorts Fan Fiction "'Her name was Darcy.' I came to Hexham on a whim. Looking for healing, I never expected to encounter a different form of wolf, much less a wolf chief with his own scars. And those scars were named Darcy." Xochiquetzal was betrayed. Reeling from the pain of betrayal and the grief of loss, she runs to a safe place mentioned in the Second Script, only to find that there's more to the world than she knows. None of the Scripts mentioned the strange white-skinned werewolves of Europe. The Great Wolf is said to be large in both forms. He's said to be strong and powerful, with eyes the color of the purest gold, similar to the thought-to-be extinct Aztec wolves. Coming face to face with an Aztec isn't something to be taken lightly, and all those involved must learn that not everything is as it seems...

"What do you want?" She asked. Panicked, backing away. The vampire followed, stepping forward, dangerously close, looking her over. "You." His voice deep, growling. "Me?" "You." " Me? No, you don't. You think you do, but you don't. It is a mistake." "No it's not." "I came for you, Andie." He grabbed her by the waist, pulled her in close and nudged his face into her neck. "Oh god, don't bite her," Davis pleaded. "Please don't bite her." "Davis you are tired, go relax. Go back to her apartment and sleep." "No Davis, stay here." He left at the vampire's last word. "Please listen to me," she begged.Holding her hands up against his chest. "Shh shh shh. do not fear me." He assured her, whispering softly in her ear. Making her weak in the knees. "But I am afraid this is.'' She stuttered. ''This was. You see there was an accident. I sprayed you with a love potion." "A love potion? How sweet." He began to nibble at her neck. She could not help liking the way he felt against her. But quickly reminded herself. HE IS A VAMPIRE! "No really, it is not sweet at all. It was an accident. I had it in my bag thinking it was mace, I wanted to mace you," she explained. "I suppose that's nicer then," he said to her. "No, that's not nice at all. But you grabbed me, and well, that's what you deserved." "I was trying to warn you to run, meant you no harm." "No. I suppose you didn't, but you got sprayed, and now you love me, it is not real love." The vampire struggled to not laugh. Silly mortal. He let her go on. © Copyright 2014 Aronel Loni. Vampires. Fey. Love. War. Sometimes you find your soulmate at exactly the wrong time... The Council of Swords, the Comhairle-Chlaidheamhan had protected supernatural kind for generations, fighting humans who would kill through fear, as well other, darker creatures who would oppress those weaker than themselves. However, the Council's enemies were growing stronger and the numbers of warriors left to protect the ordinary people were thinning. As the list of fallen warriors grew, times were becoming desperate for the Council's soldiers and those they protect. The supernatural community were in desperate need of more warriors, more ghaisgich, but only the strongest pass the trials to claim such an important position. Tor had only ever wanted to be a warrior, to defend his people from those who would destroy them through fear or malice. Becoming a ghaisgeach of the Comhairle-Chlaidheamhan was not an easy task though. It meant going against the wishes of his family. It meant being willing to sacrifice himself because it was his duty to do so. It meant putting his trust in strangers, and none were stranger than the woman that Tancred, the ghaisgeach Chief, wanted to partner him with... Deothas didn't need a partner. She didn't need to follow the rules and she certainly wasn't about to put her faith in anyone else. Why should she, when her 'brothers' and 'sisters' of the Comhairle-Chlaidheamhan didn't have faith in her? She was a loner, by choice and because she was the last of her people in the mortal realm. She was the fey-born, the only non-bhampair warrior in the Council of Swords. She was a mistake. They didn't want her and she'd taken all she needed from them already. Why would she want to babysit a new recruit? The council needs it's warriors to work together... even those who stole their positions. Unfortunately for some, both trust and love are far more terrifying prospects than war.
