Luz Noceda and Amity Blight have been thrown around and pushed through so much. What they don't know is the big roller coaster they're about to go on. As Luz is finding her way without Amity by her side, she runs into complications, finding herself thinking about Amity more than she'd like. Amity wants to be a better person, learn from her mistakes and hopefully get the love of her life back. She wants to be in her arms once again, feel her hands run through her hair. She misses having Luz next to her, holding her hand. Sadly none of what she wants comes true...at least not as she expected.

Life isn't easy for Luz or Amity. They've both been abused, been hurt, been traumatized. They've hurt each other multiple times and yet they love each other greatly, strongly. Luz spends years chasing after a crush and only ends up falling, breaking her own heart. She doesn't understand what this feeling is that she has whenever she's around. As time goes by the feeling grows. Amity has those same feelings yet she doesn't know how to contain them. She acts recklessly with her feelings and that can get her in tricky situations. Yet she stands her ground, especially when she's with Luz. She's stronger with her, she's better with her. The thing is, who really knows if Luz acts on these feelings.

When Amity's life keeps going wrong, she starts to loose hope for herself, but when she gets partnered up with her classmate Luz her life goes in a different direction. After Luz finds Amity in the girls bathroom they start spending more time together, will Amity try to explain to Luz why she stopped talking to her, better question will Luz listen?
