Ichigo Red Kurosaki (Ichigo Kurosaki) is the town's cute little teenage boy who loves to spend time in the forest at the edge of the town's limits, and loves his red hooded sweatshirt. He is stubborn and likes to do things his way. So when his father tries to make him marry a girl he has no feelings for, he runs off to the woods and gets lost. After spending the night in a tree, Ichigo wakes to find a person, no, a creature watching him from below. It spoke to itself with a deep voice, and Ichigo could feel the smirk on the creature's face, "My, my. What a treat we have here."

While the two boys were away the soldiers killed the miracle woman and left the body for the two boys to find. Grimmjow goes on a killing rampage against the soldiers to get revenge for the only person who cared for him and Ichigo. But Ichigo doesn't like this side of Grimmjow and when he tries to stop his brother all his pleading falls on deaf ears, forcing the young boy to do the unthinkable. He had to kill his own brother. For years Ichigo had to live with the guilt of killing his brother, and it followed him till his dying day. Now the young boy from the feudal era has been reincarnated into a modern day version and once again the two past life brothers are forced into battle with each other.
