It's been a while since I've been reincarnated in Miraculous Ladybug. Christmas is here already! Time passes fast when you're having fun trying to survive in a fictional world. Maybe a certain black cat was a part of the fun...But whatever, it's Christmas everybody!

Sequal to "Keep The Mask, It Goes With Your Cotume" which can be found on my profile :) With Gabriel Agresete gone, Nathalie Sancoeur is on a mission to find out Ladybug's identity, and secure the butterfly miraculous from her so that she and Hawkmoth may continue their villianous work the moment he's back. But Marinette isn't going to let that happen, broken miraculous or not. And as Marinette becomes closer with Adrien, she struggles to keep the secret they're each other's hero partners and he was living with Paris' greatest supervillian. But Mayura doesn't let her struggle end there, and forces her into more life threatening choices that could either risk their beloved city, or save it.

(BOOK 2 first book is A Ladybug in Gotham) Three months after the final fight Paris heroes are trying to pull the pieces of themselves back together, and find out who they are now that Hawkmoth and Mayura aren't there anymore. Marinette struggles to stay happy nowadays, but what better way to change your mood than with a change of location? Adrien gave up his miraculous so he could start fresh. After all, his dad was in prison for being the super villain Hawkmoth and his other caretaker Nathalie died from over use of a broken Miraculous. So, now Marinette is the guardian of the miraculous. Will her bullies lies get exposed? Will she find love in the most dangerous city in the world? Will she find out the identities of Gotham's heroes? Yes, probably, but its all about the ride and not the destination. This is mostly a salt and fluff fic.

Marinette is abandoned by her friends, her only supporters were Chole, Kagami, Luka, Jagged, Penny, and her parents. What happens when Marinette's parents are murdered and she ends up in Gotham. What happens to Marinette who's soul is lost, will she find her faith? What will she do when she finds out that she has family in the City of Crime?

Third Person POV "Umm who are you? Or umm..what are you? Wait I know what you are but Who are you?" She asked the mysterious creature in the water in front of her. "I-I'm...actually I don't have a name now that I think about it" The creature that was a merman answered thinking of a suitable name for himself "What about Chat Noir?" She suggested "You have ears on top of your head and well your tail and mask actually your everything is mostly black so Chat Noir fits you perfectly I think" He thought for a moment wondering whether or not he should trust the girl with amazing bluebell eyes that can beat the color of the ocean in front of him. He eventually decided to trust this human, 'maybe she'll be different from others of her kind' he thought. "I think Chat Noir suits me quite well so does that mean I resemble what you humans call a cat?" He said with a smirk "Yes you do Chat Noir" She smiled. "Forgive me for asking but what's your name miss?" "Marinette" She said with her hand extended to the young merman who only gave her a confused look. She responded with a giggle and then said "It's called a hand shake. It's a thing we humans do where we hold hands with another and shake it. Like this." She said while demonstrating what it is "We use it as a greeting or a signal of agreement" "Well then it's nice to meet you Marinette" He said shaking her hand "But I'm afraid that I must go now before a guppy wonders into my cave, Good Bye Princess" He said ending with a bow which merited him another giggle from his princess. "Good bye Chat don't worry we'll see each other again soon I promise" She said while getting her stuff and getting out of the water.
