Set after the events of 911 Season 6 Episode 9, Red Flag... Eddie makes his choice and pursues a relationship with Buck. This comes with the trials and tribulations of getting together, being in love, the lightning strike, Buck's recovery, the secret relationship reveal, parental drama, and Buck's past as a SEAL coming back to haunt the 118. I wrote a large chunk of this story during the winter hiatus. Started posting on the archive in February. All of this is already posted there. You may have already read this there. This story will be ongoing and will deal with some heavy themes. Trigger warning up front. They will deal with, but not tolerate homophobia, ableism, Bobby's AA, Buck's history of abuse, Maddie's is mentioned, Eddie's family drama. These triggers and others make an appearance... None are tolerated, and they overcome things as a team and a family. There will be drama, angst, violence, smut, cursing, etc... There will be some angst between the characters. No character bashing ... they actually will deal with their issues to move past them. There is some drama between Buck and Maddie very early ... and then Buck and Eddie against Bobby... Eddie and Bobby, Buck and Chim... These are done to actually deal with plots the show leaves hanging.

Buck and Eddie have been through so much together. But what will it take for them to finally cross the line and become more. An alternate take of the events after the lighting strike as Eddie struggles to keep it together, and Buck struggles to stay alive.

Buck opens his door to find a baby on his doorstep and has no idea what to do with it. Eddie is roped in to help and the two men help Buck get used to fatherhood. A month later and Buck has an accident, throwing his life into disarray as he loses his independence as a father. Once again, thank god for Eddie and his patience. This is a pre-relationship slow burn Buddie fic (Also the first chapter of this is in my Buddie one-shots collection)

Buck and Eddie are about to get married, but Buck's been feeling off lately. He goes to the doctor and it turns out that he's pregnant. He and Eddie are going to get married in two weeks and he's six weeks pregnant...he doesn't know what do to. If he should tell Eddie or not. Because he doesn't know if Eddie wants a baby or not. He's afraid Eddie's going to leave him if he tells him. Bobby's gone. The firehouse is falling apart. Buck tries to hold everyone together, but the weight of grief is heavier than he expected. No one sees the cracks-least of all Eddie, who's fighting his own pain. Until one night, everything Buck has held in comes crashing down.

"So Tommy, you're dating my dad?" Christopher asked, Buck and Eddie freezing. Tommy frowned confused, glancing at the two. "No, I'm not dating Eddie, I'm dating Evan," he said carefully and Christopher frowned. "Who's Evan?" He asked, Eddie frowning confused at him. "I'm Evan, kiddo, you know my name," Buck said bewildered and Christopher rolled his eyes. "Yeah, but literally no one calls you Evan. You're our Buck," he said as if it was common knowledge. ~~~~~~~ Saw a Tumblr post about Christopher finding out Buck and Tommy were dating and then asking Tommy if he really was dating his dad and then wrote this-
