A forced reminder of the scars made by the Gem War, who only was taught one thing. How to fight, due to the memories of its thousands of essences strategically assembled to form a functional Gem. Without the presence of Steven to aid in trying to accommodate this being's existence, how will anyone help this gem out of history?

This is my own version of a Garnet x Reader story. a Garnet x Gem (Fem) Reader After moving to Beach City, missing your best friend, you met a boy who is the same as you, you get to know him and he eventually introduces you to the soon to be love of your life, after opening up to him and his magical family you begin to tell your secrets, one by one, and one by one he helps you with your secret problems and begins to show you how powerful you can be, opening your eyes to all the powers that had been hidden within your gem, find out what other wonders await you This story doesn't properly explore the Garnet x Reader relationship until later on in the story, one issue i saw in most stories were the reader was underage, and i saw a lot of people had a problem with it (i personally didn't mind but yeah) so i thought it would be fun to have a story were the reader wasn't underage, so i decided to explore more before adding the Garnet x reader relationship, i wanted to show why Garnet (a fusion built on love and in the show has confirmed she couldn't love anyone else, would love you, showing how close they get and how much they make each other find out about themselves (Thanks for reeading this massive description, sorry it was so long) This story mentions abuse and alcohol (so far, after every chapter, if I include something i find could be triggering i will add it to the list here and warn you at the beginning of the chapter)
