[Book 1/?] [unedited] You had known L since he arrived at the orphanage thanks to Mr Wammy telling you to make friends with him and show him around. But something about the boy made you curious. The two of you grew to be friends and detectives along the way, although L became the worlds greatest detective, surpassing you. But ever since that faithful day you met him, you'd been adding to your own little case, one you'd work on for years to come. Case file: L Lawliet. Why did you feel so attached to him?

The allusive L. No one has ever seen his face, heard his real voice, knows his real name. Expect for his secret lover no one knows he has, you. Hopelessly devoted to each other, the two of you are shrouded in mystery. When Kira comes along, you and L are forced to reveal yourselves to the Japanese taskforce. To their shock, you and L are the rather gloomy morbid couple and seem to be completely unfazed by the entirety of the dark case that is Kira. As the taskforce try to understand the morbid gloomy couple you are and solve the case, it's completely unknown to anyone that something non human is watching you in fascination. I bring you dear readers another L book. Ethereal was a smashing success as are my oneshot books. So, I give you yet another about our beloved detective. This one, is for the goths. The Aether. The place where all the positive deities watch over the human realm. Gods and Goddesses roam the clouds and cathedrals day in day out, keeping humans safe from the heavens. The peace is broken when a rouge shinigami throws his notebook onto the human realm and a human with the desire to become a god picks it up. A goddess of love, you decide to check up on the human realm for the first time in years and you see a grave danger in the path of the worlds greatest detective. A little divine intervention can't be that bad can it? After all Shinigami are roaming the human realm, why not balance the scales a little?

What if Ryuzaki and Hedeki Ryuga weren't just aliases? What if there was more than one person occupying the mind of the worlds greatest detective? This is an AU in which L has DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) otherwise known as Multiple Personality Disorder. This stared as a three part oneshot series in my other book, but people loved the idea so much they kept requesting more. So I've moved all the oneshots into their own book as they follow the same story line and ended up long enough to be a short story. DID is a very real and very hard to live with trauma disorder and I am in to way trying to glorify it. I just thought the idea of each alias being a different person very interesting. This disorder has a negative stigma behind it and that negative stigma needs to be destroyed. I've done as much research as I can to make this accurate.
