Welcome to the inside of my mind. In a way, this collection of poems will tell my story and while I may not be a knight in shinning armor on a quest to rescue a princess from a tower, I do have a long epic to tell. In a way, these poems are a bildungsroman, or a coming of age story. I delve into many conversations: childhood, innocence, youthfulness, aging, detachment, Chicanx & Latinx identities, etc. There are some political-leaning poems, but for the most part; the collection is very vulnerable and honest. Anyways, this is me; keep me company on my hero's journey. All are welcome.
